Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Urbanbarrow Pvt Ltd (“Urbanbarrow”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the company that builds and operates the Sixthview platform, collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit our website or use our products and services (the “Services”).

By using the Services you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy is published in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

Sixthview is a unit of Urbanbarrow Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India. Urbanbarrow Pvt Ltd is the data fiduciary / controller responsible for personal data processed through the Services. You can reach us at hello@sixthview.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated as you use the Services, and information from third parties:

  • Account & business details — name, email, phone number, restaurant/outlet name, addresses, GSTIN/FSSAI and similar business identifiers, and staff/role information you add.
  • Order & transaction data — orders, menu items, tables, KOTs, bills, payment status and related operational records processed through the Services.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we receive transaction references and status, and do not store full card or bank credentials on our servers.
  • Usage, device & log data — IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, actions taken, and diagnostic logs, collected to run, secure and improve the Services.
  • Communications — messages you send us and records of support interactions.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used for authentication, preferences, security and analytics (see “Cookies” below).

3. How we use information

  • Provide, operate and maintain the Services and your account.
  • Process and route orders, kitchen tickets, billing and settlements.
  • Send transactional communications — such as one-time passwords, order updates, and service notices — needed to deliver the Services.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Secure the Services, detect and prevent fraud, misuse and technical issues.
  • Analyse and improve our products, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to run the Services:

  • Service providers / sub-processors — hosting and infrastructure, payment gateways, communication (SMS/email) providers, mapping and analytics providers, engaged to process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Integrations you enable — where you connect third-party services (for example a POS or aggregator such as Petpooja, Swiggy or Zomato), data is exchanged with those services to provide the integration you requested. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Urbanbarrow, our users or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services function.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, access controls and monitoring — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your personal data.
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
